Nepal is one of the small but richest countries in the world in the in terms of bio-diversity due to its unique geographical position and altitude variation. It is one of the world's best places to explore as religious, culture and natural resources. Because of the presence of fine blend of art, culture and tradition along with natural beauty, with varieties of beauty and pleasure to offer, Nepal has a great potential to attract all types of tourists from all over the world. Before the unification of Nepal by late king Prithivi Narayan Shah, tourism was closelyrelated to religion, polities and business. Many visitors, namely from the neighboring countries of China, India and Tibet visited Nepal for religious purpose. Among are notable persons. But “Manjushree” is the first visitors in Nepal to make the valley fitor human habitation either India or China. During the time of Lichhavi rulers the famous Chinese traveler Huich-Tsang and also Chinese envoy, Li-Y-Pio and Wang Hiuentse visited Nepal with his companions.
Tourism in Nepal was initiated since the time of composition of Veda around before 3500 BC. The scholars and sages used to write holy books with great meditations and penances and used to travel to popularize the findings. Veda was composed in Vyas Municipality of Nepal and 13 popularized by many sages all over the south Asia throughout the world.

Kathmandu can be visited all across the year to explore Nepal’s culture and history. Pokhara is one of the top tourist attractions in Nepal. The beautiful ‘City of Lakes’ has several beautiful lakes like the Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, and Rupa Lake.
Pokhara is a vantage point to view Himalayan peaks like Machhapuchre, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Himchuli. The shadow of Machhapuchre that dances on the surface of Phewa Lake is one of the top attractions.Besides lakes, there are several places to visit in Pokhara, like Sarangkot Hill, International Mountain Museum, Tal Barahi Temple, Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, and Shanti Stupa.The nightlife on the Lake Side is very popular among partygoers as the city has several westernized pubs and hospitality centers where one can enjoy live music, dance parties, and free drinks. Chitwan National Park lies in the central Terai region of Nepal, and it is one of the best destinations to go on a jungle safari. It is a protected area established in 1973 AD by Nepal Government to conserve wildlife and plant species.Besides the National Park, there are several other destinations like Bis Hazari Lake, Elephant Breeding Sanctuary, Devghat, Jalbire Waterfall, and Tharu Village where travelers can explore the culture and natural heritage of the Terai region of Nepal .Travelers can reach Chitwan after a drive from Kathmandu Bus Park or by taking a direct flight to Bhadrapur Airport.
